A free app to practise German adjective endings across all three declension patterns and four cases, A2 to B2.

The three patterns

After a definite article the adjective takes the weak endings: der gute Mann, den guten Mann. After ein, kein or a possessive it takes the mixed endings: ein guter Mann, einen guten Mann. With no article at all it takes the strong endings and carries the case marking itself: guter Kaffee, mit kaltem Wasser.
